In his film career that spans over a few decades, Rishi Kapoor has witnessed the changing face of cinema as well as the arrival and departure of innumerable talents. Still relevant as an actor, he believes he manages to sustain because he focuses on areas where an actor really should.
In a recent interview, Kapoor opened up on how today's actors were more curious to develop their muscles rather than developing their minds. He mentioned Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Ranveer Singh and his own son Ranbir Kapoor as people who weren't bothered about building good bodies, but are all talented actors. Stating that investing hefty money on gyms doesn't make one a good artist, he also cited Amitabh Bachchan as an example who didn't have muscles but is still regarded as the original angry young man of Bollywood.
Kapoor, who returned to India some months back after treating cancer for nearly a year in New York, has dived deep into work already. He is to appear in Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala's The Body next. We also hear he has signed a film alongside Juhi Chawla.
