Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Shruti Modi’s lawyer confirms that the actor and his family did not have cordial relations

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has been witnessing new claims and facts every day. With the case under CBI’s scrutiny, the agency has come across a few facts that included WhatsApp chats of Sushant’s ex-manager Shruti Modi and his older sister Nitu Singh. The chats claimed that Sushant’s family was aware of his medical condition refuting their prior claims that suggested otherwise. Rhea Chakraborty, in her interview, had mentioned that Sushant was not on talking terms with his father.

Reportedly, Shruti Modi’s lawyer has now claimed that Sushant’s family did not have cordial relations and that the late actor had even refused to speak to his father when he was admitted to the hospital back in 2019. He says that a huge fight took place among the siblings and while they are not aware of the details, it led to Sushant being admitted to the hospital. However, when his father had called, he refused to take it citing that his condition would worsen after speaking to him.

Her lawyer further revealed that the family was aware of Sushant’s drug habit. In her interview, Rhea Chakraborty revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput used to consume marijuana and she was trying to get him off it.  He claimed that one of his sisters who lived in Mumbai had attended many parties that led her to consume alcohol and substance abuse.
