Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon have reunited once again to play an on-screen couple in the upcoming horror-comedy Bhediya. The duo was last seen in Dilwale where their chemistry was highly praised by their fans. Only recently, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon announced with a teaser of the film that they will be joining the horror-comedy franchise of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films marking their first in the genre.

In a recent video that went viral from the sets of the film, during a shot, Kriti Sanon is seen mock-pushing Varun Dhawan during a scene in the forest but saves him in time. The team has been shooting for the film in Arunachal Pradesh for a while now and the actors have been posting glimpses of their prep for the film as well. Take a look at the video right here.

Bhediya is slated for a theatrical release next year in April.

Director Farhad Samji further also narrated a deleted scene from the film which did feature Abhishek Bachchan and Chunky Pandey. In the interview talking about the title, Akshay said, "It was just a joke. The actual inspiration for the title was the name of my character from Tashan. In that film, my character was called Bachchan Pandey."
