Some opted for intimate weddings while some did a whole grand celebration keeping the safety protocols in check amid the pandemic. 2021 turned out to be huge for actress Katrina Kaif who tied the know Vicky Kaushal. Varun Dhawan, who completed 9 years in the industry, decided to marry his long time girlfriend Natasha Dalal. On top of everything, Bollywood weddings look different than how they looked 10 years ago. These weddings are more royal and regal today.

KATRINA KAIF – VICKY KAUSHAL
Bollywood's most rumoured couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot at The Six Senses Fort Barwara on December 9 with friends and family in attendance. The pre-wedding festivities started on December 7 and the duo later shared many beautiful pictures on Instagram. Sharing the first images, Katrina wrote, "Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together."

RAJKUMMAR RAO – PATRALEKHAA
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa stayed away from the noise of celebrity weddings and got married in Chandigarh, in the presence of their close family and friends. The intimate wedding took place on November 15, after dating for over a decade. Sharing their first wedding photos, they wrote, "I got married to everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate...My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever.”

YAMI GAUTAM – ADITYA DHAR
Actress Yami Gautam married her Aditya Dhar, who was also the director of URI: The Surgica Strike. Yami’s wedding turned out to be one of the most surprising weddings of 2021. Her fans fell in love with her haldi and mehendi look. The couple got married in the presence of their friends and family. It was probably the most private wedding this year with not many aware that the duo was dating in the first place apart from few industry people.

ANKITA LOKHANDE
Just like Katrina-Vicky, Ankita Lokhande, and her beau Vicky Jain had a December wedding. The couple married each other as per Hindu traditions at The Grand Hyatt Mumbai and later hosted a special reception party for their friends and family. Ankita's wedding became the talk of the town as soon as the pictures emerged. Ankita shared pictures from her wedding and she wrote "Love is patient but we're not. Surprise! We're now officially Mr and Mrs Jain." The duo tied the knot on December 14.

VARUN DHAWAN – NATASHA DALAL
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has always kept confidentiality about his love affair with his then-girlfriend, now-wife Natasha Dalal. The duo had a beautiful Alibaug wedding on January 24 with friends and family in attendance. Like all other celebrity weddings, their wedding also had the “no-cell phone policy” to secure complete privacy and was attended by 50 guests only.
