Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji officially wrap Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, see photos

Brahmastra co-stars and real-life pair, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, kicked off the last schedule of their sci-fi flick in Varanasi earlier this month. After shooting at the ghats of Ganga river and wrapping up what seemed like a song sequence, the makers have officially announced the wrap.

Titled Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, Dharma Productions on Tuesday took to social media to share two photos after wrapping the film. In the photos, Alia, Ranbir, and Ayan were seen dressed in casuals and visiting a temple. Another photo was from the shoot at the Ganga river on a boat.

"AND THAT IS A WRAP ON THE SPECTACLE THAT AWAITS YOU! #Brahmāstra: Part One - Shiva in cinemas near you on 09.09.2022," the tweet read.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is the third collaboration between Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor and the first for the lead actors Ranbir and Alia Bhatt. It is scheduled to release in theatres on September 9, 2022.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra will release in five Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles.
