Vijay Deverakonda says he got pinned down by Mike Tyson on the sets of Liger

Mike Tyson is making his Indian cinema debut with the Indian sports action film Liger(Saala Crossbreed) starring the happening hero Vijay Deverakonda and being helmed by the director Puri Jagannadh. The icon, known for his intimidating ferocious demeanor and impeccable striking prowess, is playing a significant and mighty role in the film. Vijay Deverakonda says that Tyson pinned him down and threw some punches that shook his brain.

Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh are reuniting for another project JGM which was announced on Tuesday at an exhilarating event in Mumbai. At the press conference, when asked about working with Tyson on Liger, he said,
"It was a great experience to work with him. I got beaten by him, which shook my head. But, it gave me confidence. It was fun. I cannot reveal more, but it's a memory for life."

“These are the ones you go anywhere, people will know them,” added Vijay. He further said that he got to “eat with Mike and chat with him.”

Talking about Liger, Vijay said, "I am very grateful to Karan Johar for giving me this opportunity. He can thank me after the film releases because we will give him a blockbuster. I want this film to be huge as Karan has taken a terrific decision, and I want him to be happy with his decision."

Liger also marks Ananya Panday's foray into Telugu cinema. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali Basha, Makarand Deshpande star in pivotal roles.
