Kartik Aaryan enjoys Chinese food; gives an epic reply to ‘diet food is tasty’ debate

From heading to Ahmedabad for the shoot of Satyaprem Ki Katha to the announcement of Freddy, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been constantly in the headlines for the past few days. The actor’s life seems quite busy, given that a release is around the corner and he is shooting for his next. However, he has managed to spare some time to devour ‘tasty’ food, and his latest Instagram post is proof of it.

Interestingly, Kartik Aaryan posted a selfie of himself, which also featured Chinese food. It appears that the actor had Chinese food for his dinner as he was seen in a printed blue shirt. Giving a cheeky caption to his post, Aaryan wrote, “Kaun kehta hai diet food tasty nahi hota? (who says diet food is not tasty)” Well, below it he quipped, “Main (me),” followed by an Index Pointing Up emoticon.

As soon as the Pati Patni Aur Woh actor shared the post, it managed to garner 500k+ likes, so far. The comments section was flooded with Kartik’s fan reactions. While many dropped various emojis such as red-heart and fire, a section of fans called him “International Crush”. Director-choreographer Farah Khan Kundra also reacted to the post, and commented, “This is not looking like any diet food.”

Coming to his work front, the 31-year-old actor is gearing up for his multiple upcoming releases. As mentioned above, he is currently shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha, co-starring Kiara Advani. The duo flew to Ahmedabad to shoot a schedule. Directed by Sameer Sanjay Vidwans, the upcoming film is jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures.

On the other hand, Kartik will soon grace the OTT screens as his film Freddy is all set to release. Though the makers have not announced the date yet, the film will directly stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
