Priyanka Chopra reveals that there were people who wanted to ‘jeopardize’ her career; says, “Focus on light, a little bit of inspiration that you might see”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the few actresses who has achieved not just national but international fame. With shows like Quantico, Hollywood films, and being a part of the Jonas family, the actress has become one of the most popular global personalities. Talking about how jealous people have often tried to ‘jeopardize her career’, Priyanka said, “I have had people wanting to jeopardise my career, take away from my work, make sure I wasn’t cast just because I was doing well in what I was doing. "

However, the actress went on to advise people to ignore such negativity and continue following their path towards their goal. “But that’s not what stops me. I don’t sit and wait and harp on, maybe I will cry one night when an opportunity was taken away from me, but I don’t sit in the s**t. You have to shut off the noise. Focus on the one person who believes in you. Focus on light, a little bit of inspiration that you might see and that’s the hardest thing to do because you are bogged down by baggage and shackles of people holding you down,” she added.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is gearing for the release of Prime Video’s space sci-fi drama Citadel. The actress is also keen on starting work on her next Bollywood film, Jee Le Zaraa, also starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
